HDL Services was founded by Dr. Lenny Gutierrez, whose work supporting neurodivergent individuals, those with exceptional needs, and families facing complex challenges began in 1997. For nearly three decades, he has developed and implemented individualized strategies focused on improving functional outcomes across home, school, community, and healthcare settings.
Throughout his career, Dr. Gutierrez recognized that many individuals and families were not benefiting from traditional service models. This realization led him to develop innovative, outcome-driven approaches tailored to the unique needs of each person, family, and environment. These principles became the foundation of HDL Services.
As his work expanded, Dr. Gutierrez observed that many of the challenges faced by individuals and families were not solely related to the person receiving services, but also to the systems responsible for delivering support. This understanding led to a broader focus on developing programs, implementation strategies, and service models designed to improve outcomes on a larger scale.
Today, HDL Services combines expertise in developmental services, behavioral health, population health management, and healthcare implementation to support both individuals and organizations. By applying lessons learned through decades of direct service, HDL works with healthcare providers, community organizations, and service systems to develop practical solutions that improve access, strengthen care coordination, and create sustainable change.
Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, HDL Services utilizes ongoing assessment, observation, collaboration, and data-informed decision-making to design individualized interventions, organizational programs, and system-level implementation strategies. Whether supporting a single individual, strengthening a family, or helping an organization improve service delivery, our goal remains the same: creating meaningful, measurable outcomes that improve lives and strengthen the systems that serve them.
